The standard
Scored, not sensed.
Feedback tells you how it felt. A score tells you where you actually stand, and exactly what to fix before the conversation that counts. This is the whole apparatus: what gets measured, what the bands mean, who takes you up, and the rituals that move a number.
What gets measured
Six dimensions. One score.
Every rep is evaluated by a Coach AI against the same six axes, then integrated into one weighted overall number. Nothing is scored on charisma, and nothing is scored on your deal.
Pacing, tone, response length, composure. Substance over filler when the temperature rises.
Can you explain the thesis in plain language an investor instantly trusts? Vague terminology is a leak.
Address the concern directly, reframe pushback as diligence, and hold the room while it's hard.
Match the archetype. A skeptical analyst and a friendly angel need a different version of you.
Every question you pivoted away from and hoped they'd forget. The fastest way to leak trust.
Advance to a real next step, grounded and well timed. A premature close backfires.
Where you land
Four readiness bands, and one of them opens a door.
Unable to hold the conversation coherently. Fundamental communication training first.
Core skills struggling. Meaningful coaching needed before real investor conversations.
Competent in several areas with clear, nameable improvement opportunities.
Strong delivery, objections addressed, rapport built, a grounded close attempted. Certification unlocks here.
Your band is private. Nothing is published, shared, or attached to your profile unless you choose to claim a badge.
Beyond the number
The score is the headline. The report is the work.
Underneath the six numbers, the Coach AI returns seven written fields. This is the part that changes behaviour, because it tells you how, not just what.
- Wins. What you actually did well, named specifically.
- Fixes. Actionable corrections, phrased as instructions.
- Drill. One exercise to run before the next rep.
- Rapport highlights. The exact moments trust was built or broken.
- Rapport tip. One move calibrated to that investor archetype.
- Unanswered questions. Everything you left hanging, quoted back.
- Close attempts. What you tried, and whether it was grounded.
A real early-rep distribution. Most operators do not start at Proficient. That is the point of finding out here.
The mentor ladder
Six people take you up. The last one is the room.
The ladder begins in warmth, escalates through pressure, and resolves into calm command. Each mentor governs a readiness tier, trains a specific pair of dimensions, and conditions you against the exact investor waiting at that altitude.
Makes the room feel survivable before it becomes real. Trains rapport and belief.
"Most people think this world belongs to people with money. It doesn't. It belongs to people who know how to create trust."
The training chamber made human. Delivery and clarity, run until they're reflex.
"Confidence is not a mood. It is a trained response. Again."
Replays the conversation frame by frame and shows you where trust drained out.
"You didn't lose them on the deal. You lost them on the sentence you hoped they'd forget."
Interrupts. Stacks objections. Starts the clock. Not cruel, calibrated.
"The pause is where the trust leaks out. Don't fill it with fear. Fill it with the answer."
Where readiness stops being defense and becomes leadership. Presence and the close.
"A premature close backfires. A grounded close is just the natural next sentence. Learn the difference."
He doesn't drill. He decides, then asks you to teach it back.
"I didn't teach her to sound ready. I taught her to be the person a room decides to trust. Now it's your turn to sit on this side of the table."
The rituals
One standard: no untrained investor conversations.
Pre-Pitch Pressure Test
Run a simulation before any real investor conversation. Never let the live call be the first rep.
Trust Leak Review
Replay the transcript and find where credibility actually drained: the vague term, the hand-wave, the dodge.
Weak Answer → Raise Ready Answer
Rebuild the sentences that cost you, one exact word at a time.
The 3-Rep Rule
Cold rep, correction rep, confidence rep. You don't rise to the occasion; you fall to the level of your reps.
Raise Ready Score Check
Measure readiness before any investor-facing week. Compare against your own last number, not someone else's.
Objection Gauntlet
Stacked pushback with the clock running. Trust is built in the moments right after the hard question.
Calm Under Capital Drill
Condition emotional control directly. The pause is where trust leaks out. Fill it with the answer.
Knowing the method is not the same as having the reps.
The founding class is where the method gets run against you, not explained to you.
