The story
We built the room because nobody gets a second first impression.
iMRaiseReady exists because the cost of a first attempt at raising capital is too high to pay in public. This is why it was built, who built it, and where it goes from here.
Where it comes from
Built by people who learned this the expensive way.
iMRaiseReady is built by Yonnick and Marichel Matthews, co-founders of YM² Academy, "Your Mindset to Millions." The academy's work sits at the intersection of identity and capital: applied identity economics, capital raising education, public speaking coaching, and multifamily syndication training.
The thesis underneath the product is simple and slightly uncomfortable. Most people don't struggle to raise capital because they lack opportunity. They struggle because they've never been trained to think, and speak, like the person investors trust. Investors don't fund ideas. They fund clarity, they fund conviction, and they fund people who sound like they have been in the room before.
So we built the room.
The moment
It started with a question nobody in the room could answer.
Every capital-raising programme has the same gap at the end of it: people who can explain the strategy perfectly and still lose the room. We watched it happen to operators who could underwrite a deal in their sleep and froze when an LP asked for the downside case. The deck was fine. The numbers were fine. The sentence under pressure was not.
Feedback couldn't fix it. Feedback is one experienced person's impression, delivered once and remembered vaguely. What was missing was a number: a measured position across defined dimensions that you could re-run tomorrow and compare, at 11pm the night before a call, as many times as you needed, without spending anyone's patience.
So the standard became one sentence: no untrained investor conversations. Everything here is built to hold it.
What we're against
Naming the enemy is how you decide what a product refuses to become.
Using a real investor conversation to find out how you sound.
Scripts work right up until the investor goes off-script. Then they cost you.
Your deck supports the raise. It does not carry the room.
More leads don't fix weak communication. They expose it faster.
Watching a module is not a rep. Nobody gets conditioned by a playlist.
Confidence without reps is theatre, and investors have seen the play.
The question you dodge is the one they remember on the drive home.
No confetti, no streaks. The artifacts here are proof of readiness or nothing.
Where this goes
From a console, to your pocket, to the chair across the table.
The founding class trains on the web console. Every rep they run calibrates what comes next: the same investor, the same score, in a room you can walk into.
The full console in the browser. Six mentors, six archetypes, the Objection Gauntlet, and the scored report, generated immediately after every rep.
Live 14 Sep app.imraiseready.comThe rep in your pocket. Run the baseline in the car park before the meeting. Voice-first, fifteen minutes, same score, same drill. Founding members get it first, during the founding run.
iOS · Android · rolling out during the founding runSit across the table. The investor across from you reads your pacing, your pauses, where your eyes go when the hard question lands. The room before the room, at full scale.
In design · founding members shape itGo and the Chamber are direction, not promises with dates. Founding members see each one before anyone else, and their reps decide what it trains against.
The raise did not get easier. They became harder to shake.
